Most contact lens exams require a recent comprehensive exam and refraction (eyeglass determination). If there is a recent exam from elsewhere, often we can proceed straight to the contact lens evaluation. This exam includes insertion and removal training if required, contact care instruction, trial lens selection and fit assessment, trial lens test and reevaluation at a later date, and follow-up care and reassesment or refitting as necessary. Our goal is happy vision, whether wearing everyday, for certain activities and occasions, or to better manage distance and near vision difficulties.
