Craig Rennard grew up in Indiana, attended school in New York and Boston and moved throughout the country and abroad with the military. He spent 10 years on Active Duty and 5 years Reserve in the Army, including a deployment to Iraq. He moved with his family in 2008 to practice at the Alaska Native Medical Center and he transferred to the US Public Health Service. He was at ANMC for 11 years before retiring from federal service in 2020. He spent the next 6 years working as an independent Optometrist at the Midtown Mall, seeing more than 20,000 patients during that time. When not working, you’ll find him spending time with his wife, Sandy, & children (Tyler, Grace, Maddie, Ella), exploring the outdoors, working at his cabin, and cheering on his favorite teams.
